耳朵突然沒聲音，當心這是聽力障礙。彰化基督教醫院耳鼻喉暨頭頸部醫師許慶輝表示，忽然聽不到聲音主要是突發性聽力障礙所造成，又分傳導性、感音性兩大類，通常黃金治療期約在症狀發生兩周之內，聽損程度、耳鳴狀態則約兩個月定型。
許醫師指出，聽覺出錯（耳鳴）或是聽覺失能（聽損），對於生活都有很大影響，特別是如同不速之客般產生「突發性」聽力障礙，更是令人防不勝防，而且聽不到聲音時病人往往很驚慌，甚至難以接受這種狀況桃園市中壢區真人娃娃，以為自己已經耳聾了。
許慶輝醫師指出，就以傳導性聽力障礙來說，誘發因素很多種，可能來自耳垢填塞、耳道異物、中耳腔積水、外傷性耳膜破損、聽小骨損傷等；另以感音性聽力障礙而言，通常是三天內發生連續三個頻率大於三十分貝聽力損失，誘發因素可能來自循環問題、感染或發炎、外傷因素等較常見。
根據統計顯示，越高頻、越高分貝聽力損失，發病之後恢復機會相對比較小。此外，突發性聽力障礙可能同時出現聽損、耳鳴，甚至出現暈眩等症狀，其中，眩暈持續越久，預後情形越差，所以患者必須把握黃金治療期，如此有助提高恢復正常的機會。

「每一場音樂會對我來說都是不同的故事，第一次來台灣演出，我不知道這裡樂迷會喜歡我什麼歌，但我一定帶好歌來。」英倫創作鬼才艾維斯?卡斯提洛（Elvis Costello）抵台，今晚將首度舉行訪台演唱會。記者會上他敞開心懷大談愛妻爵士樂手黛安娜?克瑞兒，還開玩笑說：「如果大家這麼喜歡《She》，我也可以現場唱20遍。」
驚嘆！3張專輯3種風格
卡斯提洛曾深情翻唱法國香頌名曲《She》，被茱莉亞羅勃茲、休葛蘭合作演出的電影《新娘百分百》當成主題曲，也以此被台灣樂迷知悉，「但深情跟浪漫不是我唯一的風格，我崇尚多變，因為人生就是由許多不同的面向所組成，我只是用音樂表達出來。」
也許有樂迷對卡斯提洛這位音樂家的名字覺得陌生，但卡斯提洛是歐美樂壇相當知名的音樂才子。卡斯提洛在1970年代發表的首3張專輯《My Aim Is True》、《This Year’s Model》、《Armed Forces》，全都入選滾石雜誌史上最偉大的500張專輯名單之列，3張專輯，3種完全不同的音樂性格，持續讓樂壇驚嘆至今。
「我的音樂成分非常複雜，我沒有想要用音樂說服人或者左右其他人的想法，我覺得音樂不分國界，無關語言，我希望我的歌可以帶給社會溫暖。」
獨特！搖滾到古典都在行
卡斯提洛二度訪台，上次是跟著愛妻巡演，他是觀眾，「我們常常一起在世界各地巡演，也觀摩其他人的演出。」卡斯提洛說他們常常合作歌曲，「我第一次認識她是她在倫敦的演唱會，我被她的歌聲吸引，也幫她寫歌，後來我們常一起創作，我負責寫詞，她的歌聲常常啟發我。」
幽默帶著調皮，有英國紳士的優雅，也有不畏潮流的特立獨行，卡斯提洛說，「我22歲出第一張專輯，我已經覺得我老了；但現在我站在這裡，我覺得我現在像個小男孩，我一直想要嘗試不同曲風，以前我是搖滾、藍調，後來加入古典，今晚我要帶來的音樂則是鄉村風，沒有樂團，就讓吉他、鋼琴跟我的歌聲作伴，唱給大家聽。」
卡斯提洛首度訪台演唱會將於今晚舉行，地點在台北國家音樂廳。
美國職棒大聯盟皇家隊賽發布新聞稿宣布，將我旅美投手王建民DFA(指定轉讓)，把空間讓給傷癒復出的左投瓦嘉斯，王建民也因此移出球隊40人名單，今年球季可能提前結束。
所謂指定轉讓（DFA）是MLB處理球員的制度，當球員被球隊指定轉讓時，就立刻被移出40人名單，球隊將可多出空位供調度，被指定讓渡名單的球員有10天的時間和球隊商量下一步該如何走，通常有三個選項：期間如果有其他球隊願意網羅，可以和皇家進行交易，如果沒有球隊提出交易，又正值小聯盟球季結束，到時候將成為自由球員。
王建民8月底因為右手肱二頭肌肌腱炎，被皇家放入15天傷兵名單，不過前幾天傷兵期滿，王建民還是沒有被重新登錄出賽名單，今天就傳出他被DFA的消息。經紀人張嘉元透過媒體表示：「王建民現在心情很平靜，一切靜待消息。他今年已經證明自己還有立足大聯盟的實力，明年球季還是有意願繼續拼在大聯盟出賽機會。」
